Everyone needs a space that stirs the imagination. Whether you’re a teacher looking for science enrichment, a community group interested in agriculture, social justice, or environmental restoration, or you’re simply curious about what the George Jones Farm offers – we have a space for you.
5 acres of cultivated fields ring our central hub of operations, back-dropped by more than 70 acres of prairie, wetland, woodland, and pasture. Crisscrossed by newly developed trails, we can keep you or your group engaged for hours watching birds, finding amphibians, identifying insects and exploring the secret life of plants and soil.
We offer guided tours Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm by appointment only.
For school groups, these tours can be tailored to your individual curriculum needs.
Our team has expertise in a variety of fields to accommodate your learning objectives. We ask that groups plan to make a donation of $5.00 per participant. For those groups that lack sufficient funding, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We do offer subsidized rates to groups looking for support.
